What does it say about Canadians that a beer commercial has become one of our national symbols? It doesn't really bother me, but I wish we could have something more interesting and less consumer-related... like robot beavers that run on pure love, or a giant rainbow bird that is the opposite of entropy. Natural symbols should be stuff of mythology, not of selling alcohol, however tasty it might be.
