I think of frilly as in a frilly dress. To me, a girl with a frilly dress is some kind of stuck-up yuppy who hides her real self behind all the frilly lace. They are the ones who believe that they are the world, and the world should be them. If you took that girl, and ripped away her ruffles, you'd find a stringy girl, who is nothing.
