In the southwestern corner of that foresty Pacific Northwest state called Oregon is a small town called »Grants Pass.« A beautiful, small town situated on the Rogue River, it has grown swiftly in the last fifty years. It's less than an hour from California, less than two hours from the Oregon Coast, and is near Crater Lake and the Oregon Caves. There is a multitude of outdoor activities in the Rogue Valley. It's a land of fishing, hunting, and is near skiing. It's the opposite of the impatient, constant-moving nature of New York. Grants Pass is definitely the perfect place for a quiet, beautiful getaway.
