Countries have governments.
There are so many different kinds of governments: dictatorships, monarchies, democracies and more.
Spain had Franco.
Britain has the Queen.
Others have elections.
China is far away from china, but there is a european movie called »in china they eat dogs«.
They say you only appreciate what you have when you have it no longer (even if temporarily). I can remember the first time I felt strongly (and proudly) about being European. It was at the end of four years as a graduate student in America....
