Or maybe I'm still in a dilly that has lasted twenty-five years. Or maybe I was so engaged that I didn't notice it when it occurred. Or maybe – any day now – I'm in for the rudest awakening of my life. Good grief, what am I supposed to metamorphose into this time? Keep listening for the scream....
