Well, I'll be blowed – so the Dutch have been sitting all these years on the shameful secret that they speak corrupted Deutsch...Shouldn't we therefore be allowed to say '...then I'm a corrupt Dutchman' (when we don't believe something), or even '...well frankly, I'd rather be a pure, honest speaker of original R(h)ein deutsch'!!
