Onion rings are not meant to be identical in form and size (like those from Burger King), as if constructed on some assembly line to fill an impersonal demand. They should, rather, contain infinite variation from one to the next (like those from Harvey's), each appearing to be lovingly handcrafted from purest grease and onion-shavings. The world deserves its onion rings.
