My uncle always enjoyed a glass of port after supper.
My aunt never joined him. She was always in the kitchen.
Sipping slowly or wiping a saucer dry, each had a moment of solitude and reflection.
Still, I wonder if my aunt would have liked to sit in the living room in the evening sometime.

The starboard side is the right side of a boat as she goes and port the left side. Once the steering board was placed to the starboard. The left side of the boat (looking to where she is going) was once called the larboard, but now it is the port side, the once-preferred side for loading and unloading cargo (when the boat is in port).
